Samsung, like many other manufacturers, is preparing for the new netbooks on upcoming Intel Pine Trail platform.
One of the first Samsung netbook with Intel’s next-generation is Samsung NB30. This Samsung NB30 is comes with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, it is equipped with an integrated graphics core. Samsung NB30 netbook has a 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. Its HDD will be equipped with a free fall sensor that keeps read/write heads automatically transferred to a safe position at a certain level of overload that allows it to avoid data loss.
Samsung NB30 netbook is equipped with a 10.1-inch display with a resolution WSVGA (1024×600 pixels), a 0.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi, 3-in-1 card reader (SD/SDHC/MMC), three USB ports, and D-Sub. Dimensions of Samsung NB30 are 264x188x25-27 mm and weight is about 1.24 kg.
The Samsung NB30 is preinstalled Windows 7 Starter Edition. Battery of Samsung NB30 can operate up to 6.5 hours. Estimated cost of Samsung NB30 netbook is not reported.
